Disaster Strikes Again!

My poor basil bed has just lost another plant!
First I lose half of them to frost and then I lose another one to this guy. . .


Cut Worm
I will be out at dawn with a trowel,  flashlight and heavy boots for squishing.
Gardening is not for the faint of heart!

    After our talk yesterday about cutworms I dreamt about them all night. I should have just gotten out of bed with my flashlight and did some productive hunting. I lost another cabbage. Poop!

    Some of the farmers here have mentioned they have cutworms, not nice when it affects your money crops :-(
